  It features elaborate carvings and drawings on the outside walls, and if you sit silently for a long time, you’ll witness monkeys going up and down like tree trunks. The interior is even more impressive. It houses a Lord Shiva deity, and devotees come to seek his blessings. It’s a must-see section since it shows the unique architectural style found exclusively in Bali.

• Pura Beji (Holy Bathing Temple)
  The Pura Beji (Beji Temple) is Ubud’s oldest temple. It is dedicated to the Hindu god Hyang Widhi, who takes the form of Gangga. It’s also well-known for its Barong architecture and virtuosic relief carvings, among the greatest in Bali.

  The temple itself is a serene haven of peace. I can’t help but wonder what it must have been like when this place was hopping. A tiny pool of holy water is inside for melukat, or spiritual and physical cleaning. It’s an excellent spot to cleanse before performing Piodalan.

• Pura Prapajati
  Pura Prajapati is located near the forest’s cemetery area, adding a solemn touch to the Ubud Monkey Forest. Dedicated to Prajapati, the Balinese god of death and ancestors, this temple holds cultural significance and enhances the contemplative ambiance of its surroundings.
